My name is Jan E. Gellatly. I was born in Hamilton, Scotland, where I had a career in carpet design. I really enjoyed my painting life and have continued painting ever since. I have lived in Newfoundland, Manitoba, Canada, and then to Texas, North Dakota, and finally here to Anacortes, where it really is home. I paint in watercolor, but I have tried other mediums, but still come back to watercolor. I have work in the UK, Canada, Australia, and in many parts of the United States.
